Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Insurance Claims Handler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing insurance claims efficiently and professionally, ensuring accurate processing and excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to develop within a dynamic environment, supporting clients through complex claims processes and maintaining organisational standards.
You'll be coordinating repairs across our trusted partner network for some of the UK's largest insurers and loss adjusters, managing incoming claims, liaising with clients and contractors and making sure every job is progressed efficiently within agreed SLAs and KPIs.

- Experienced in insurance claims, property repairs or similar operational enviroment?
- Well-organised, process-minded and comfortable working to SLA's?
- Able to work in a fast paced enviroment?
- Clear communicator with customers and clients?
Duties
- Receive and review incoming insurance claims, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate
- Process claims promptly using established procedures and systems
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, and relevant stakeholders regarding claim status and requirements
- Maintain detailed records of all claims activities, updates, and correspondence
- Investigate claims as necessary, including liaising with external parties or assessing documentation provided
- Assist with administrative tasks related to claims management, including filing, data entry, and report generation
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries professionally and courteously
Skills
- Proven clerical experience with strong organisational skills to manage multiple claims efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in processing claims and maintaining records
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently whilst adhering to company policies and procedures

COMPETITIVE SALARY TO BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW DEPENDANT ON SKILLS - FULL- TIME - OFFICE-BASED - STEVENAGE, HERTFORDSHIRE.
Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
