Careys is looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team.

Whether you're looking to broaden your experience or accelerate your career, you'll play an important role in the successful commercial delivery of the project.
Working closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor and project team, you'll support all aspects of commercial management including:
- Cost reporting and forecasting.
- CVRs and commercial reporting.
- Valuations and change management.
- Subcontract procurement and administration.
- Payment applications and subcontract accounts.
- Monitoring project costs, risks and opportunities.
- Supporting the commercial team throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience within a commercial role on construction, industrial or civil engineering projects.
- A Quantity Surveying degree or be working towards one.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commercial awareness and attention to detail.
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn.

John, Tom and Pat Carey moved to London from Ireland and started a groundworks contracting company in London called PJ Carey Plant Hire (Oval) Ltd.
