Gutter Cleaning Technician Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Gutter Cleaning Technician to join our professional team. This role involves delivering high-quality gutter cleaning and inspection services to residential and commercial customers, helping to maintain, protect, and improve their properties.
The successful candidate will support planned maintenance works across a portfolio of over 12,000 properties annually, ensuring a consistently high standard of service, safety, cleanliness, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out gutter cleaning and inspections as part of planned maintenance works across a portfolio of over 12,000 properties annually
Remove leaves, moss, debris, blockages, and other build-up from gutter systems using approved cleaning methods and equipment
Inspect gutters, downpipes, rooflines, and surrounding areas before, during, and after works to identify defects, damage, blockages, or maintenance issues
Report findings accurately, including any visible defects or concerns identified during works
Maintain a high standard of cleanliness on customer sites, ensuring all work areas are left tidy and professional at all times
Deliver work with strong attention to detail to ensure consistent, high-quality results
Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, explaining the work being carried out and addressing any questions or concerns
Follow all health and safety procedures, including safe working practices and correct use of equipment
Drive and maintain company vehicles and equipment responsibly, carrying out basic checks and reporting any faults
Requirements
Full valid driving licence with a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good awareness of cleanliness, site presentation, and safe working practices
Ability to identify visible gutter, downpipe, roofline, or maintenance issues and report them appropriately
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in a range of weather conditions
Ability to carry out manual tasks safely
Previous experience in gutter cleaning, exterior cleaning, property maintenance, or a similar role is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided for the right candidate
