Electronics Assembler
Spicer Consulting Ltd is a friendly, family owned business based in Stewartby near Bedford employing over 45 people. We manufacture our own electronics products that are used to monitor and cancel magnetic fields. We are the market leader and have a worldwide customer base. Our modern manufacturing facility was built in 2022.
Due to the growth of the company we are looking for an additional experienced electronics assembler to join our team.
We have a very low turnover of staff, and are a profitable company offering good working conditions as well as a generous pension scheme of 10%. Staff also have free use of our 5 company holiday homes around the country.
The company has well defined procedures for manufacturing.
This is not a trainee position.
Duties would include:
- Under guidance, to create PCB assemblies and finished products by following drawings and build instructions
- To update Build Sheets with accurate data during the manufacturing process
- To assist other members of the Production Team as required
Preferred skills and experience:
- Solder competently
- Some experience of mechanical assembly
- Interpret detailed drawings and work instructions
- An accurate and careful worker
- Computer literate
There may be an opportunity for a suitably experienced applicant to take on additional responsibilities.
