From conferences and awards ceremonies to exhibitions and large-scale corporate events, we provide professional audio visual, lighting, staging and event production services to an extensive portfolio of clients.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and highly organised Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse operations from our Glasgow headquarters.
The Role
The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our busy AV and event production warehouse, ensuring equipment is maintained, prepared and dispatched efficiently to support our event delivery teams.
This is a hands-on management role requiring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to lead by example in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all warehouse operations, including goods in, goods out and stock control.
- Plan and oversee equipment preparation for events and productions.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and asset management systems.
- Ensure all equipment is tested, maintained and stored to company standards.
- Manage freelance support as required.
- Coordinate vehicle loading and logistics for event deliveries and collections.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised working environment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, processes and warehouse layout.
- Liaise with project managers, technicians and operations teams to ensure successful event delivery.
- Assist with equipment purchasing, repairs and maintenance schedules.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse management role.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning abilities.
- Experience managing stock and inventory systems.
- Good working knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
Desirable Experience
- Experience within the events, audio visual, production or rental industry.
- Knowledge of audio visual, lighting, staging or event production equipment.
- Experience managing logistics and transport schedules.
