A Message from Chris Lennon, Business Operations Manager
Hi, I’m Chris.
Thanks for taking the time to explore this opportunity, we really appreciate it. Before you read more about the role, I wanted to share a bit about who we are, what we stand for, and why this is a genuinely exciting time to join LKQ Electriq.
We have an exciting opportunity at our new e-motors site based in Worthing. If you are a technician who thrives on technical challenges rather than repetitive servicing, you are in the right place.
At LKQ Electriq, we aren't a traditional workshop. We don't do MOTs, oil changes, or tyres. We operate a specialist high-voltage workshop dedicated to the internal repair of electric vehicle batteries, high-voltage components, and now e-motors.
What makes us different? We don't just swap parts. At our new Worthing site, you will be using the latest tooling and equipment, including market-leading press equipment and diagnostic tools to carry out repair work on eMotors and drive units. We work on innovations to find solutions; for example we utilise a dedicated Laser Room to execute precision repairs that most of the industry hasn't even seen yet at our site in Shoreham.
Since joining forces with LKQ in 2025, we have combined this startup innovation with global scale resources. We are growing our team of specialists and we are looking for people who want to move away from the grease and oil of the past and into the clean, high-tech future of EV repair.
We value your expertise and your time. That is why we operate a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends. You get high-level technical work in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
If you are ready to trade the routine for this exciting opportunity, I would love to hear from you.
