Overview
We are seeking skilled Extrusion Operators to join our dynamic manufacturing team on the day and night shifts. The ideal candidates will have experience in plastic sheet extrusion, a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to operate extrusion machinery effectively. This roles involve setting, sheet manufacturing, and ensuring the quality of extruded products while adhering to safety standards and production schedules.
Working Patterns Available
2 openings on day shift and 2 openings on night shift
- Shift pattern = 4 on / 4 off
Overtime
- Overtime available at 1.25 rate

Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor extrusion machinery to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Adhere to production plans and make necessary setting changes to meet the requirements of the product.
- Carry out operator maintenance and liaise with appropriate service engineers where relevant.
- Monitor, measure and check throughout production manufacturing process.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and products, identifying any issues or areas for improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of production output and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues related to machinery operation.
- Ensure the warehouse is organised, maintaining an efficient workflow and safe working environment.
- Adherence to company and regulatory policies, procedures and safe working methods.
Qualifications
- Proven plastic sheet extrusion experience preferred.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of related processes.
- Familiarity of extrusion software and programming.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting machinery issues.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Forklift truck licence is desirable.
