Full job description

WGM Engineering Ltd, part of RSK Group has an exciting vacancy for an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor to join our Compliance team on a permanent contract. This role will be based in Glasgow with some hybrid flexibility available. You will also visit sites across our region therefore there may be an element of working away from home on occasion.

About the Role

In this role, you will supervise electrical regulatory tasks, ensuring they are delivered to budget to fully satisfy customer requirements. This role will drive service delivery which will be recognised by the client and ensure key performance targets and SLAs are maintained. This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding, self-delivery design and build partner recognised across the Scottish and English Water industry for outstanding high quality work, outstanding client service and a commitment to health, safety and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure client assets worked on, out turn with compliance to current electrical regulations, WIMES specification and Electrical Safety Rules (ESR).
Continually improve project communication and performance within the team.
Building strong client relationships.
Develop business within the electrical regulatory structure.

Person Specification

SVQ Level 3 Electrical.
Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship.
Recognised Inspection & Testing Qualification.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
ECS Card.
Knowledge and understanding of electrical construction to WIMES Specification.
Knowledge of safe systems of work.
Excellent mentoring skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven experience in an operational supervisory role.
Valid UK driving licence is essential.
