Equans is looking for a Transformation PMO Analyst to join our team on an 18 month fixed term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

At the centre of this journey is our Transformation team—a dynamic, collaborative function providing oversight, guidance, and support across our strategic Programmes and Projects. The team plays a crucial role in enabling successful delivery by driving consistency, transparency, and performance across the transformation landscape.
As a Transformation PMO Analyst, you will play a vital role in enabling data-driven, evidence-based decision making across the entire Transformation Portfolio. You will provide the analytical insight that underpins how we assess delivery confidence, track strategic alignment, monitor financial performance, and understand risks and resource capacity. The role will provide exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence key decisions at the heart of a major business transformation.
What will you deliver?
- Establish and Maintain Governance: Proactively maintain robust governance frameworks across all business and IT activities, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategic objectives
- Champion Status Reporting: Implement rigorous status reporting processes, challenging and validating project updates to ensure transparency and accountability.
- Produce Governance Materials: Create and deliver comprehensive meeting packs and reports, providing stakeholders with timely and insightful information for decision-making.
- Monitor and Escalate Risks: Track progress, budgets, and risks, escalating issues and driving change control to maintain delivery integrity.
- Lead Risk Mitigation: Identify, report, and resolve risks and issues, ensuring effective mitigation plans are in place for high-impact projects.
- Quality Assurance: Set the standard for programme documentation by ensuring all deliverables are thoroughly quality-assured and fit for purpose.
- Strategic Planning and Resource Management: Coordinate and support the development of detailed programme and project plans, including resource forecasts and budget tracking, to enable precise cost management and resource allocation.
- Financial Stewardship: Collaborate with the PMO Lead to maintain an accurate view of budgets, actuals, and forecasts. Track run rate against plan to help identify potential risks. Support issue resolution and highlight variances to ensure financial discipline.

Who are we looking for?
- Knowledge and experience of delivering PMO activities in a Programme or Project environment.
- Knowledge of working on large scale system transformation programmes covering full lifecycle from design, through build, test and deploy
- Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to listen, question and challenge. Build on-going relationships.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills recognising complexities in across different departments and divisions. Able to build relationships at all levels from Programme Director through to all members of the team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and able to articulate and translate complex detail to appropriate audiences.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines, plan and prioritise accordingly.
- Ability to break down complex problems to identify constituent parts and root causes and provide comprehensive, but pragmatic resolution options.
- Cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management skills
- Proactive with high levels of energy, tenacity, and enthusiasm to deliver results. Able to work independently.
- Ability to prioritise issues and demands across multiple Programmes or Projects.
- Flexible and adaptable with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proven organisational and planning ability. Good at working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
