Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar and Events Staff to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing exceptional service during various events and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is advantageous, but full training will be provided for the right applicant. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills within the hospitality industry while contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and food to guests in a courteous and timely manner, ensuring high standards of service.
Assist with setting up and clearing event spaces, including organising tables, chairs, and equipment.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Monitor guest behaviour to ensure safety and compliance with venue policies.
Manage cash transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems, including handling cash and card payments.
Restock supplies as needed throughout shifts to ensure smooth operation during events.
Engage with guests professionally, creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages repeat visits.
Support team members during busy periods by sharing responsibilities efficiently.

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, such as working in bars, restaurants or event venues, is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and serving techniques is advantageous.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling payments accurately.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities are essential for managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude is crucial. This role offers an engaging environment where you can enhance your hospitality skills while delivering outstanding service to guests at various events. Pay: £12.21-£17.81 per hour
