We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual who wants to develop into a highly skilled Operations Operative. We are not looking for someone with years of experience—we are looking for the right attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to producing high-quality work. The Person We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Reliable and punctual Physically fit and happy working outdoors in all weather Enthusiastic and willing to learn Comfortable working in a small team Able to follow instructions and work safely Keen to develop practical and technical construction skills Looking for long-term, regular work Experience in groundworks, landscaping, fencing, utilities or general construction is beneficial but not essential. Essential Requirements Full UK driving licence Own vehicle Own smartphone Right to work in the UK Ability to travel to sites across London, Surrey and the South East A CSCS card is preferred but not essential. The Role Training will be provided in: Screw pile installation Excavation and groundwork Steel reinforcement fixing Formwork construction Concrete placement and finishing Reading construction drawings Digital project reporting Leica total station setting out Plant operation Site leadership Payment Engagement will be on a CIS self-employed basis. Payment is made on an agreed hourly rate. The hourly rate is all-inclusive and is intended to cover: Working time Travel time to and from project sites Use of your own vehicle Fuel and normal vehicle running costs Mobile phone use Normal day-to-day business expenses associated with carrying out the role No separate mileage, fuel allowance, travel allowance or phone allowance will be paid. Starting rate will depend on existing skills and qualifications. Typical starting rates: – No CSCS – CSCS Card Additional hourly rate increases are available as skills and responsibilities are demonstrated.
