Head Groomer & Studio Manager
The Dog Haus - Stockport
The Dog Haus is a new, dog grooming studio and retail space opening in Davenport, Stockport.
We are looking for an experienced and confident Head Groomer / Studio Manager to lead the grooming side of the business and help shape the customer experience from day one.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in high-quality grooming, enjoys building relationships with clients, and is excited about helping grow a new independent business.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality grooming services including bathing, drying, clipping, trimming and styling
- Ensure every dog is handled safely and comfortably throughout the grooming process
- Consult with owners on grooming requirements and provide aftercare advice
- Manage the daily running of the grooming studio including bookings and workflow
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the grooming area
- Monitor dogs for any signs of health concerns and communicate with owners where appropriate
- Help oversee retail sales of dog products and maintain an organised shop floor
- Support the growth and reputation of The Dog Haus through excellent customer service
Requirements
- Previous professional dog grooming experience three years min
- Confident handling dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality grooming
- Friendly, professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to manage a busy grooming schedule
- Experience managing or leading a grooming salon is beneficial but not essential

Pay: £22,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
