We are looking for a driven Group Events & Hospitality Sales Manager to help grow weddings, events, functions and hospitality sales across two established Anglesey hotel businesses: Tre-Ysgawen Hall Country House Hotel & Spa and the Valley Hotel.
Tre-Ysgawen Hall is a 30-bedroom country house hotel and spa set within approximately 10 acres, with strong potential in weddings, spa breaks, corporate retreats, private dining and exclusive-use events.
The Valley Hotel is a well-established local hotel and hospitality venue with opportunities to grow private functions, wakes, birthdays, small weddings, business events, coach groups, Christmas parties and local community events.
This is a sales-focused role. We need someone proactive, organised and commercially minded who can generate enquiries, follow up leads, convert bookings, create packages and help build a strong events pipeline across both hotels.
The role can be based from our Stockport office / hybrid, with regular travel to Anglesey for site visits, show-rounds, open days and key events.
Key responsibilities
* Generate and convert wedding, event and function enquiries
* Sell weddings, private functions, corporate events, spa events, retreats and seasonal packages
* Conduct show-rounds at Tre-Ysgawen Hall and the Valley Hotel
* Build relationships with wedding suppliers, planners, local businesses, community groups and corporate clients
* Organise wedding open days, showcase events and seasonal promotions
* Work with our in-house designer on brochures, packages, adverts and social media content
* Follow up all leads quickly and professionally
* Maintain a clear pipeline of enquiries, viewings, deposits and confirmed bookings
* Sell accommodation, spa, food and drink packages alongside events
* Work closely with hotel management teams to ensure events are deliverable and profitable
* Provide weekly reporting on leads, conversions, future bookings and revenue
The candidate
We are looking for someone confident, polished and commercially driven. Experience in wedding sales, hotel events, hospitality sales, venue sales or luxury customer-facing sales would be highly beneficial.
This is not a passive enquiry-handling role. We need someone who will actively chase leads, create opportunities, build relationships and convert business.

* Strong sales ability
* Wedding, events, hotel or venue sales experience preferred
* Excellent communication and follow-up skills
* Confident conducting show-rounds and client meetings
* Commercial awareness
* Organised and target-driven
* Able to work independently
* Willing to travel to Anglesey for site visits, open days and key events
* Flexible around some weekends and evenings where required
Package
* Salary: £30,000–£38,000 depending on experience
* Commission / performance bonus available
* Travel expenses for Anglesey site visits
* Stockport / hybrid base with regular Anglesey visits
* Opportunity to play a key role in growing events revenue across two hotel businesses
