Job Description:

PLouise is on the lookout for a talented, full-time Video Editor to join our creative team. This role is pivotal in bringing our PLouise documentary to life, as well as crafting engaging, high-end social media content. We’re seeking a creative, forward-thinking editor with a passion for beauty, fashion, and storytelling. You’ll elevate each video with a strong sense of creative flair, seamlessly integrating graphics, sound effects, and modern social media trends. You’ll work closely with the videography team, transforming raw footage into visually stunning narratives. If you thrive in a fast-paced, creative environment and have a knack for modern aesthetics, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

* Edit and assemble high-quality video content for the PLouise documentary, as well as social media platforms.

* Apply creative editing techniques to ensure each video stands out, incorporating sound effects, transitions, and graphics.

* Design and integrate modern graphics, animations, and pop-ups to enhance storytelling.

* Manipulate and balance audio, ensuring perfect clarity and immersive sound design.

* Collaborate with videographers, the creative team, and marketing to ensure all edits align with the brand’s vision.

* Stay on top of current social media trends, ensuring edits are engaging, shareable, and optimised for each platform.

* Ensure all video content adheres to the PLouise brand aesthetic and high standards.

* Deliver edits in line with tight deadlines, adapting quickly to evolving briefs.Requirements:

* Proven experience as a video editor, with a portfolio that showcases creative flair and high standards.

* Advanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and graphic design tools.

* Strong sense of creative storytelling, with an eye for detail in both video and audio.

* Experience integrating sound effects, music, and voiceovers to elevate the viewer experience.

* Familiarity with beauty, fashion, and social media trends, with a passion for staying ahead of digital content evolution.

* Ability to work collaboratively in a team while also thriving independently.

* Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

* A keen interest in modern aesthetics, media, and digital storytelling.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
