P4HB is a specialist procurement, pre-construction and delivery support business helping developers, contractors and property clients deliver projects more efficiently, commercially and successfully.
As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a practical, organised and hands-on Project Manager – North / Manchester to take ownership of live project delivery across our growing North West portfolio.
This is a key role within the business, providing dedicated regional project management support and ensuring projects are delivered professionally, efficiently and with clear communication between clients, suppliers and site teams.
The Role
This is not an estimating role and it is not a desk-based coordination role.
You will be responsible for managing live projects from pre-start handover through to completion, coordinating suppliers, subcontractors, site teams and internal stakeholders to ensure projects remain on programme and issues are resolved quickly.
Working closely with the Group Delivery Director and wider delivery team, you will become P4HB's operational lead across our Manchester and North West projects.
Key ResponsibilitiesLive Project Delivery
- Take ownership of projects following handover from pre-construction
- Manage day-to-day project delivery activities
- Coordinate suppliers, subcontractors and site teams
- Ensure projects are progressing in line with programme requirements
Site Communication & Client Coordination
- Attend site meetings and maintain strong client relationships
- Act as the key point of contact for site teams
- Provide clear updates and communicate project requirements effectively
Programme & Progress Management
- Monitor project milestones and sequencing
- Identify potential delays and risks early
- Ensure internal teams understand upcoming requirements
Material Call-Offs & Supplier Coordination
- Coordinate material schedules and delivery requirements
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers
- Track lead times and resolve delivery issues
- Escalate risks where necessary
Issue Resolution & Risk Management
- Proactively identify project issues
- Resolve site and supplier challenges efficiently
- Escalate commercial, technical or programme risks appropriately
Reporting & Project Controls
- Maintain accurate project records and trackers
- Support weekly project reporting
- Ensure project information remains current and accessible
Experience RequiredEssential
- Construction project management experience
- Residential development, refurbishment or conversion project experience
- Site coordination and supplier management
- Programme tracking and project reporting
- Experience managing multiple live projects
- Strong communication and relationship management skills
- Confidence working with contractors, suppliers and site teams
