About Visual Architects
Visual Architects is an award-winning creative production company specialising in immersive environments, scenic fabrication, festival builds, experiential activations, commercial interiors, hospitality projects, and large-scale installations across the UK and Europe.
We design, manufacture, and install visually impactful projects for brands, agencies, festivals, venues, attractions, and immersive experiences. With significant investment in advanced manufacturing technology, we are expanding our digital fabrication capabilities and are looking for an experienced Large Format 3D Print & Manufacturing Technician to join the team.
Our workshop includes:
- Kings 3D Large Format Printers
- 7 Axis Robotic Manufacturing Systems
- CNC Machinery
- Hotwire Cutting Systems
- Traditional Scenic Fabrication Facilities
The Role
We are looking for a practical, technically minded individual to become the lead operator of our large format 3D printing department.
You will take ownership of our Kings 3D printers, managing everything from file preparation and print scheduling through to machine operation, maintenance, quality control, and production planning.
Working closely with designers, project managers, technical designers, and workshop teams, you will help transform creative concepts into large-scale physical objects used in festivals, immersive experiences, attractions, commercial interiors, exhibitions, and scenic installations.
Whilst your primary responsibility will be the operation and development of our large-format 3D printing capability, there will also be opportunities to develop skills across our wider manufacturing department, including robotic fabrication, CNC machining, and digital production technologies.
This role would suit someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, working with cutting-edge manufacturing technology, and producing unique one-off projects rather than repetitive production work.
