Job Summary

We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Waiting Staff/Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a lively dining environment, ensuring customers enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Previous hospitality or restaurant experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and a passion for guest service are essential. You will be responsible for upholding food safety standards and contributing to the smooth operation of the venue.

Duties

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring prompt delivery
Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Handle cash and card transactions accurately at the point of sale
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables, bar area, and service/back of house stations
Assist in food preparation or setting up as needed, adhering to food safety regulations
Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests or concerns
Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service flow
Follow all health and safety procedures diligently, including food safety standards

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is preferred but not essential; a friendly personality and eagerness to learn are equally valued
Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills is desirable
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills with a professional attitude towards guest service
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Experience with upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and sales performance
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday periods as required
A genuine passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences

Pay: £12.71 per hour
