We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Care Clinical Lead to join our Primary Care team at HMP Eastwood Park, located near Bristol.

HMP Eastwood Park is a women's prison in Gloucestershire focused on rehabilitation, wellbeing, and helping individuals build positive futures. Health care is situated in the prison and provides a 24 hour healthcare and has a capacity of around 400 females.

As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering healthcare services, balancing both clinical responsibilities and leadership duties through a split clinical and management role.

Monday-Friday
37.5 hours per week
8:00am-16:00pm

Salary

You’ll receive an annual salary between £51,643 - £58,012 per annum, depending on experience.

What you'll be doing

As a Primary Care Clinical Lead, your responsibilities will vary. You will

Provide clinical leadership and management to the registered nurses and care teams.
Deputise on behalf of the Deputy/Head of Healthcare when required.
Work closely with partners to maintain a robust, high quality clinical service for patients. Ensure that own clinical practice is consistent with autonomous practice within the role.
Drive forward Clinical projects
Model a culture of compassion, care, courage, commitment, communication and competence.
Clinical Lead you will coach, line manage and develop clinician staff; support and contribute in undertaking audits and governance and contribute to developing and reviewing clinical/non clinical Local Operating Protocols for the site.

Registered Nurse – Adult

Current professional qualification (NMC)
Evidence of Continued Professional Development
Experience of being a safeguarding Lead - Desirable but can be offered training
Understanding of the complexities of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working
Existing Clinical Leadership experience / Leading teams - Essential

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
