Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Part-time Bookkeeper to join our team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to the smooth financial operations of our organisation. The ideal candidate will have experience with various accounting software programmes and possess a strong understanding of accounts payable processes. This position is perfect for someone looking to utilise their bookkeeping skills in a supportive environment while maintaining a work-life balance.

Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records using recognised accounting software Xero
Process accounts payable, ensuring timely and accurate payments to suppliers and vendors
Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts regularly to ensure data integrity
Assist with preparing financial reports and summaries as required
Support the finance team with data entry, filing, and other administrative tasks related to bookkeeping
Ensure compliance with organisational policies and relevant financial regulations

Requirements

Experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with familiarity in using accounting software Xero
Understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record management
Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time within a part-time schedule
Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members
Relevant qualifications or training in accounting or finance are desirable but not essential along with no prior expertise not essential.

Pay: £20.00 per hour
