We have an exciting opportunity for a Community Educator to join us at our service. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering targeted training and education sessions to Cheshire East communities and partner organisations.
No two days are the same and we treat every person who comes into our service as an individual, so being flexible, curious and a good listener are key.
Where: Crewe or Macclesfield base
Hours: Full time, 37.5 per week
Full-time hours at Change Grow Live are 37.5 hours per week. For part-time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.
Responsibilities:
About the Role:

Delivery of training and awareness raising sessions with audiences of varying levels of knowledge.
- Utilise digital platforms to deliver sessions as well as face to face delivery.
- Planning and evaluation of training or education programmes.
- Organising events and campaigns to promote or raise awareness of messages.

Responsibility for risk management and Health & Safety requirements of the delivered training events

Developing promotional or awareness raising materials and content.
- Developing campaigns to raise awareness of subject matter focussed on identified cohorts.

Produce reports on the effectiveness of harm reduction campaigns and messages using qualitative and quantitative mechanisms

Understanding of current developments and priorities in substance misuse policy at a national and local level.
What we are looking for:

Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for service users

Excel in both verbal and written communication, with proficient IT skills.

Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.

Hold a strong understanding of interventions, services, and best practices.

Thrive as a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.

Exhibit the ability to navigate change effectively, always prioritising the needs of service users.
