House Project Facilitator

Help young people turn a house into a home and build a positive future.

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic House Project Facilitator to join our Leaving Care Service.

The House Project supports care-experienced young people as they prepare to leave care and move into homes of their own. It helps young people build confidence, independence and practical life skills, while creating a supportive community that continues beyond the age of 18.

In this varied role, you will:

Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
Provide individual support and complete assessments and plans
Plan and deliver engaging group sessions and community projects
Support young people with budgeting, managing a home, education, training and employment
Work closely with social care, housing, health, education and partner agencies
Promote young people’s voices and respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns

We are looking for someone with experience of working directly with young people, particularly those who may have experienced trauma or adversity. You will be compassionate, organised, resilient and confident working both independently and as part of a team.

The role is permanent, full time and 37 hours per week. Flexibility is required, including some planned evening and weekend work, to ensure young people in education or employment can participate.
