Job Title: Skilled MIG / TIG Welder

Company: Hallmark Fabrication

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

Salary: Competitive (Dependent on Experience)

At Hallmark Fabrication, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality precision engineering and fabrication solutions. Based in Stoke-on-Trent, our busy manufacturing premises houses a team of dedicated professionals who turn complex designs into reality. Due to sustained growth, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced MIG / TIG Welder to join our team.

The Role

As a skilled welder at Hallmark, you will be a key player in our production process. You will be responsible for fabricating and welding high-quality components from engineering drawings, working with a variety of materials (including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum).

Key Responsibilities:

High-quality MIG and TIG welding on various gauges of metal.
Reading and accurately interpreting technical fabrication/engineering drawings.
Setting up, operating, and maintaining welding equipment safely.
Assembling, clamping, and prepping materials prior to welding.
Conducting self-inspection of welds to ensure they meet our strict quality standards.
Adhering to all company health and safety regulations at all times.

What We’re Looking For

We need someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Proven track record as a MIG and TIG Welder within a fabrication or manufacturing environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a group from engineering drawings with minimal supervision.
High attention to detail and a commitment to neat, structurally sound welds.
Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player with a proactive attitude.
Coding/Certifications are highly desirable, though practical skills are paramount (a weld test will be part of the interview process).
