This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, solving problems, and helping shape the way projects are delivered as the company continues to scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of fibre build projects, including FTTH/FTTP network deployments, across multiple live workstreams.
- Oversee civils, cabling, splicing, testing, and installation activities to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate subcontractors, field teams, designers, surveyors, and internal stakeholders to ensure aligned delivery.
- Develop and maintain practical project plans, delivery schedules, milestone tracking, and site progress updates.
- Monitor daily and weekly progress, take corrective action where required, and ensure delivery remains on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies, constraints, scope changes, and project variations in real time.
- Act as the key point of contact for operational delivery matters with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Support buildability discussions with design and engineering teams to help achieve efficient, practical delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of handover packs, as-built records, and supporting project documentation.
- Maintain strong health & safety compliance across all active sites.
Why This Role Is Different

- Solve problems pragmatically where formal processes may not yet exist
Leadership and Team Coordination
- Lead field delivery teams and subcontractors with clear direction and accountability
- Support and mentor junior project engineers or coordinators
- Act as escalation point for delivery issues, site challenges, and stakeholder concerns
- Promote collaboration between design, build, and operations functions

- Experience coordinating subcontractors and field-based delivery teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions under pressure
- Good commercial awareness, including budget tracking and cost control
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Comfortable working in environments where structure is still evolving

- Experience contributing to or building delivery systems and workflows
- Knowledge of GIS, design coordination, or network planning processes

- Opportunity to shape how fibre projects are delivered within a growing startup
- High-impact role with direct influence on operational success and company growth, and direct access to leadership
- Rapid career progression with potential into leadership roles as the company scales
