Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Vehicle Prepper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing vehicles to meet quality standards and ensure they are ready for sale or delivery. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a good understanding of vehicle maintenance processes. The Vehicle Prepper plays a vital part in maintaining our reputation for high-quality vehicles and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Inspect vehicles thoroughly to identify any defects or areas needing attention
Use hand tools and power tools to perform necessary repairs, cleaning, and detailing
Carry out mechanical tasks such as checking fluid levels, tyre pressures, and basic engine inspections
Perform heavy lifting of vehicle parts or accessories safely and efficiently
Prepare vehicles by washing, polishing, and ensuring all internal and external surfaces are presentable
Assist with minor repairs or adjustments as required to meet quality standards
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
Document work completed on each vehicle accurately for record keeping

Qualifications

Mechanical knowledge is essential; previous experience in vehicle preparation or maintenance is advantageous
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in vehicle servicing and detailing
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively
Good organisational skills with an eye for detail
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic with a focus on quality and safety standards
