Recruitment Consultant (360) – Build Your Own Desk. Build Your Own Future.

Location: Telford, Shropshire (Office Based)
Salary: £40,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission + Rapid Career Progression

This isn't a job for an average recruiter.

GDSM Recruitment is looking for a top-performing 360 Recruitment Consultant who wants more than just another desk.

We're looking for someone who wants to build a business, not just fill vacancies.

You'll be responsible for launching and growing a cold desk across one or more of the following sectors:

Commercial
Healthcare
Manufacturing
Industrial
Warehousing

What You'll Be Doing

This is a true 360 recruitment role.

You'll have complete ownership of your desk from day one, including:

Winning new business through proactive sales and relationship building.
Building and managing your own client portfolio.
Sourcing, interviewing and placing high-quality candidates.
Managing the full recruitment process from vacancy to placement.
Negotiating terms, rates and fees.
Growing your desk into a high-performing, profitable division.
Becoming the recognised specialist within your market.

We're looking for someone who doesn't wait for opportunities—they create them.

We're Looking For

This role is for recruiters who genuinely believe they're among the best.

Essential:

Minimum 5 years' experience as a 360 Recruitment Consultant.
At least 2 years' continuous service with your current or previous recruitment employer.
Proven track record of billing and winning new business.
Experience developing and growing recruitment desks.
Excellent knowledge of your chosen recruitment sector.
Full UK driving licence.
