Our client are a dynamic and growing company seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sales Order Processor to join our busy Service and Maintenance teams. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction through efficient order processing and administrative support.
As a Sales Order Processor, you will be responsible for managing and processing customer orders, generating quotations, and providing essential administrative support to our Service and Maintenance departments. The ideal candidate is an experienced administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and has a keen eye for detail.
- Order Processing: Accurately input and process customer orders into our CRM system, ensuring all details are correctly captured and validated.

CRM Management: Maintain and update customer information, order status, and other relevant data in the CRM system to ensure data integrity and accessibility.

Quotation Generation: Prepare and generate basic non-technical quotations for customers, adhering to company pricing policies and guidelines.

Goods Received (GR) Processing: Handle and process Goods Received notes, updating inventory systems and reconciling discrepancies as needed.

Customer Communication: Respond to customer inquiries regarding order status, product availability, and general information in a timely and professional manner.

Interdepartmental Coordination: Liaise with various departments, including Sales, Service, Maintenance, and Warehouse, to ensure smooth order fulfillment and resolution of any issues.

Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all orders, quotations, and related documents, ensuring easy retrieval when needed.

Report Generation: Prepare and distribute regular reports on order status, processing times, and other relevant metrics to management and team members.

Process Improvement: Identify and suggest improvements to existing order processing procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Quality Control: Perform regular quality checks on processed orders to maintain high standards of accuracy and completeness.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a similar role as an administrator or sales order processor
- Proficiency in CRM systems and order processing software
- Strong computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel)
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on providing exceptional service
