Full job description

We are a friendly and well-established dental practice currently looking to recruit a Permanent Dental Hygienist to join our dedicated clinical team. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, reliable, and motivated individual seeking to work in a supportive, professional environment focused on high-quality patient care.

Working Days & Hours
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
8:30am – 5:30pm
Private patients only

Nurse assistance available, or the option to work without assistance if preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Provide thorough dental hygiene treatments including scaling, polishing, and preventative care
Educate patients on good oral health practices and tailored home care advice
Carry out periodontal assessments and maintenance as required
Maintain high standards of infection control and clinical hygiene at all times
Keep accurate and up-to-date patient records
Work collaboratively with dentists, nurses, and the wider dental team to deliver excellent patient care

Requirements

GDC-registered Dental Hygienist
Previous practice experience preferred, although newly qualified applicants are welcome
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong commitment to preventative dentistry and patient education
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Must have the right to work in the UK
