Overview

Join our team as a Warehouse Assistant Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy. This energetic position offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated team, optimize processes, and contribute to the seamless movement of goods within a fast-paced environment. Your expertise in materials handling, process improvement, and warehouse management systems will drive operational excellence and support our commitment to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
Lead and manage warehouse staff, fostering a positive team environment while ensuring productivity and safety standards are met.
Implement process improvements to streamline workflows, reduce errors, and enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols related to heavy lifting, forklift operation, shipping & receiving procedures, and general warehouse safety standards.

Experience

Proven experience in warehouse management or supervisory roles within a logistics or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques, forklift operation (certification preferred), and mechanical systems used in warehouses.
Hands-on experience with shipping & receiving processes, heavy lifting procedures, and logistics coordination.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Mechanical knowledge that supports troubleshooting equipment issues and maintaining operational flow.
