Panel Saw Operator
Skirting World Ltd is a fast-growing manufacturer of premium MDF skirting, architraves and architectural mouldings.
About the Role
The role of a Panel Saw Operator within Skirting World requires the successful candidate to work and communicate with a team of machinists to achieve the daily production targets, as well as ensuring the highest standards are kept to. Liaise with the factory manager to hit the daily tasks.

Successful candidates will be expected to be able to carry out the following-
- Safely and efficiently set up, operate, and monitor the panel saw to cut MDF and timber panels to precise dimensions according to cutting lists and production schedules.
- Load and unload large MDF panels onto the saw table, ensuring correct positioning and alignment.
- Inspect MDF/timber for defects, damage, or quality issues before cutting
- Work collaboratively with the team of machinists to achieve daily production targets and minimise waste.
- Perform basic machine setup tasks, including blade changes and adjustments
- Stack, label, and organise cut pieces ready for the next stage of production (e.g., edging and profiling)
- Perform work in accordance with specifications, instructions, and/or company policies
- Maintain a clean and safe working area around the machine, following all health & safety procedures (including PPE and dust extraction)
- Perform other general duties in the factory as required (e.g., assisting on other machines, packing, or material handling)
Previous experience operating a panel saw would be advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Due to current production demands, the successful candidate will need to be available to start as soon as possible.

Working Hours
40 Hours per week – Monday to Thursday 07:00 - 15:30, Friday 06:00 – 14:30
