Salary: £35,412 - £42,839 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

We currently have an opportunity to join East Suffolk Council's Private Sector Housing team as a Technical Officer.

The role

As a technical officer you will provide technical advice, assistance and support to individuals living with a disability, who wish to adapt their homes.

You will liaise with Occupational Therapists in the design of reasonable and practicable solutions to meet the necessary and appropriate needs of the client, along with instructing and monitoring contractors in the delivery of good quality solutions.

What you will need

If you have knowledge of building construction, the ability to analyse and solve new and complex problems along with clear communications skills, we would love to hear from you!

A full driving licence is essential for this role.
