Full job description

We are recruiting an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our Milsoms Kesgrave Hall Hotel team in as Senior Housekeeper.

Kesgrave Hall is a welcoming, independently run family hotel with 27 beautifully appointed bedrooms and a range of inviting common areas. We take pride in offering exceptional comfort, cleanliness, and service to every guest.

This is a permanent position, working 4 days per week (7:30/9am–3/4pm).
Hourly rate: £13.50 plus a share of tips.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and motivate the housekeeping team to deliver consistently high standards.
Organise and oversee the cleaning of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring efficiency and attention to detail.
Train, supervise, and support housekeeping staff in daily operations.
Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen.
Work closely with the House Manager to ensure smooth communication across departments.
Support with rota management & ordering
Uphold and promote health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Be flexible to meet the changing needs of the business, including weekend work.

About You

Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role within housekeeping.
Strong organisational skills.
Excellent attention to detail and cleaning knowledge.
Understand the pace and efficiency required to service hotel rooms to a high standard.
A positive team leader who works well with others.
Professional communication skills and a hands-on approach.
Reliable, flexible, and passionate about delivering a great guest experience.
Available to work weekends
