We are currently looking for exceptional people to join our team and have a great opportunity for a commis chef
The ideal candidate would possess excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure. At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position is essential along with a strong grasp of Health and Safety policy demanding high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure food is produced in a timely and efficient manner and meets the highest standards of taste, quality and presentation.
- Keeping the team up to date about departmental, hotel and company activities through daily communication.
- To ensure the kitchen is clean and that the team all know the correct hygiene standards expected.
- To ensure the kitchen team follow HACCP and food safety standards. Using the tools and equipment provided.
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Be comfortable following a standardised menu
- To be standards driven and have good organisational skills.
