Full job description

Duties:

- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival

- Verify patient information

- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment system

- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries

- Collect and process patient requests

- Maintain patient records and update information as necessary

- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

- Ensure the reception/admin area is clean and organized

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- Hardworking and a positive team player

- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

-General IT Skills

- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus

As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service to patients while ensuring the smooth operation of the practice team. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to the overall success of our medical practice. 5 GCSE’s including English and a minimum of 1 years experience in a reception or administrative role essential . Experience of this in a healthcare setting desirable.

Schedule: 8 hour shift / Monday to Friday / 8.30am start essential
