Full job description

Due to our ever expanding work load we have exciting opportunities for a Var Driver to join our well-respected team at Johnsons Hotel Linen. You will assist with the distribution of our linen from our distribution facility.

The Role:

Delivery and collection of clean and soiled linen
Assisting with loading/unloading vehicle
Regular communication with the Transport Manager
Unloading of the company vehicle on your return to the depot at the end of your days' delivery round
Collection of soiled linen lists and handing them into the service office, as required
Recording of any delivery times/windows and securing signatures on delivery notes
Day-to-day liaison with customers and the office

Essential Criteria

The position covers a variety of shift patterns so you must be prepared to be flexible in your approach to working hours including weekends. Start times will vary and will include weekend working.
