Full job description

Overview

We are a small, friendly company looking for a reliable and organised Accounts Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team on a part time basis. You will support the day-to-day financial administration of the business.

Duties

Assist with data entry and maintenance of financial records using Quickbooks
Support accounts payable processes, including processing invoices and verifying transactions
Enter and reconcile financial data
Help prepare reports and summaries related to accounts receivable and payable
Organise and file financial documents securely and systematically
Contribute to month-end closing activities by verifying account balances and resolving discrepancies
Perform general administrative tasks related as required
Wages & PAYE experience would be an advantage

Experience

Proficiency in using accounting platforms, experience of QuickBooks or similar accounting software required
Knowledge of accounts payable procedures and data entry accuracy is essential
Organisational skills with attention detail and accuracy in data entry tasks
Ability to work independently whilst supporting team objectives
Basic understanding of financial processes and reporting standards. This role provides flexible hours suitable for those seeking part-time employment.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
