Full job description

LGV Class 2 Tanker Driver – Coleshill, Birmingham

Full time, permanent (40hr weeks)

£16.78 per hour - £23.04 per hour (dependent on hours)

Rix Petroleum is one of the UK’s leading independent fuel suppliers, with our head office located in Hull. We started out as ship owners in 1873 and today we have interests in fuel distribution, shipping, motor homes, caravan manufacturing and property, we were ranked 30th in the prestigious list of private companies. Rix Petroleum are part of a wider group, The Rix Group.

Rix Oakleys Midlands operates a fleet of tankers throughout the Midlands supplying Homes, Farms and Businesses with Heating Oil, Gas Oil and Diesel.

Due to continued growth throughout the Rix group, we are currently recruiting for a Class 2 LGV tanker driver with ADR licence at our Coleshill Depot.

Roles and responsibilities include:

Loading and making deliveries in a safe and professional manner
Complying with all company policies
Representing the company in a professional and polite manner at all times
Ensure all vehicle checks are done, reporting any defects
Knowledge of WTD and Digital Tacho Cards
Completing all paperwork as required
Multi-drop experience would be an advantage, but full training will be given

Successful Candidate Requirements

Full Valid, UK LGV licence (Class 2)
Driver CPC and digital tacho card
ADR license

All candidates will be expected to be flexible as this role can be of a seasonal nature and overtime is expected when required.
