We're looking for a Despatch Operator to join our busy manufacturing team in Dundee.
This is an important role, ensuring customer orders are accurately prepared and despatched on time while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You'll be working as part of a supportive team in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing and despatching customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Following established processes and quality procedures
- Ensuring orders are completed within agreed timescales
- Working safely and maintaining a clean working environment
- Communicating effectively with colleagues across the production team
- Contributing to continuous improvement within the department
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate the following:
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing, warehouse or logistics environment (desirable but not essential)
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to organise and prioritise workloads
- A positive approach to teamwork
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work independently when required
- A willingness to learn and develop
This role involves being on your feet for much of the shift and includes regular manual handling. Full training will be provided, along with appropriate equipment and safe working practices.
Working Hours
This is a permanent, full-time position working on a 12 hour continental shift pattern.
