Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labour duties on-site. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and capable of working safely in a dynamic environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction and roofing trades.

Duties

Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using various materials and techniques
Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out tasks efficiently and safely
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as tiles.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment to adhere to health and safety standards
Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines

Requirements

Prior experience or knowledge of roofing, construction, or related trades is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces
Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Strong commitment to safety procedures and teamwork skills
Valid UK driving licence and own vehicle nessisary to get to site
