Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Roofer/Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with roofing projects and general labour duties on-site. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, eager to learn, and capable of working safely in a dynamic environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction and roofing trades.
Duties
- Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using various materials and techniques
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out tasks efficiently and safely
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as tiles.
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment to adhere to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within deadlines
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge of roofing, construction, or related trades is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and teamwork skills
- Valid UK driving licence and own vehicle nessisary to get to site
