We are looking for an organised and proactive Production Planner & Controller to play a key role in ensuring our manufacturing operations run efficiently and customer orders are delivered on time.
Working closely with Customer Relations, Production, Engineering, Procurement and Warehouse teams, you will be responsible for developing production schedules, managing inventory availability and coordinating resources to support operational performance. This is a highly visible role that sits at the heart of our business, ensuring production plans align with customer demand while supporting our ambitious growth plans.

Develop and maintain daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to meet customer demand and business targets.

Own and manage the master production schedule, ensuring alignment with sales forecasts, production capacity and project timelines.

Create and maintain production paperwork and planning documentation.

Monitor inventory levels and material availability, working closely with Procurement to minimise shortages and delays.

Review customer orders and sales forecasts to support effective capacity planning.

Track production progress, identify potential issues and adjust schedules where required.

Analyse production and inventory data to improve efficiency, performance and forecasting accuracy.

Identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives across planning and production processes.

Act as a key point of contact for Customer Relations, providing updates on lead times, delivery commitments and production status.

Build strong working relationships across Sales, Operations, Production and Quality teams to ensure operational targets are achieved.

Ensure compliance with company, quality and health & safety standards.

Proven experience in production planning, scheduling or manufacturing operations.

Strong understanding of production scheduling, demand planning and inventory management principles.

Experience using MRP/ERP systems and production planning tools.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
