Full job description

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Door Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, repairing, and installing a wide range of industrial door systems across commercial and industrial sites. This is a field-based role working mainly within a two-man team, although there will be occasions where solo working is required. The ideal candidate will be reliable, safety-conscious, and capable of working independently when needed.

Key Duties

Fault finding and repairs on industrial door systems
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Installation of industrial door systems
Emergency callout support on a rota basis
Completing service documentation and reports
Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Previous experience within the industrial door industry is essential
Valid CSCS card
NVQ Level 2 qualification
Full UK driving licence
IPAF certification
Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
Successful candidates will be required to pass a DBS check

Hours of Work

Hours of work are 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday - 40 hour working week, although a flexible approach to working early mornings, evenings and weekends, as and when required. With occasional nights away.

Pay: £28,972.11-£36,000.00 per year
