Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with general tasks around the premises. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and capable of multitasking efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with company standards.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained at all times.
- Assist customers with their orders, providing friendly and efficient service.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and customer areas throughout shifts.
- Support with food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when required.
- Manage stock levels, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation.
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times, including proper food handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive environment for both staff and customers.
Experience
- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar customer-facing role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
- Experience in serving customers efficiently in busy environments is desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately are necessary.
- Strong time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing demands throughout shifts.
