Cygnet Hospital Colchester is a 59-bed service providing a range of intensive support and rehabilitation services for men with learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorders or mental health needs.
We are looking for a highly motivated, well organised and capable individual to act as General Manager and take overall responsibility for the management and functioning of all non-clinical areas of the hospital.
This is a senior management role within the hospital, overseeing management responsibilities for Admin including Reception, Catering, Housekeeping, MHA Administration, Drivers, and day to day oversight of any maintenance issues at site. The postholder also has responsibility for ensuring Health & Safety compliance is maintained for the hospital.
You will work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

We would welcome applicants who are proven leaders and have worked with varied stakeholders in the delivery of outstanding care and must have previous management experience preferably in similar role.

You have...
Previous experience of working in a General Manager role within the healthcare sector
Commercial awareness & good business acumen
Experience in helping to maximise opportunities while undertaking account management
Knowledge of the healthcare sector & relevant legislation
The skills to research, collate data, brief, & negotiate
Excellent experience in leading & managing teams.
