Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for bartending and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including equipment and utensils.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts.
Assist in training new staff members on bar procedures and customer service standards.

Experience

Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
Basic understanding of food safety practices is advantageous.
A friendly and approachable demeanour, with excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
A willingness to help others and contribute positively to the team dynamic is essential.
