Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Singing Teacher to join our team immediately, providing high-quality vocal instruction to students in Twickenham, Hampton, and surrounding areas. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with learners of various ages and skill levels, fostering their musical development in a supportive environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for teaching singing, with experience working with children and those requiring special education support. All teaching positions are paid, ensuring fair compensation for your expertise and time.
Duties
- Deliver engaging and personalised singing lessons tailored to each student’s ability and goals
- Develop customised lesson plans that promote vocal technique, musicality, and confidence
- Support students of all ages, including children and individuals with special educational needs
- Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement
- Create a positive learning environment that motivates students to achieve their full potential
- Maintain organised records of lessons, attendance, and student development
- Collaborate with parents or guardians when necessary to discuss progress and address any concerns
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching singing or music
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts to learners of different ages and backgrounds
- Experience working with children and understanding of child development principles
- Knowledge of special education needs (SEN) is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills to plan lessons and track student progress
- Passionate about music education with the ability to inspire students through engaging teaching methods
