Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate our food offerings. In this role, you will be responsible for creating exceptional dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver memorable dining experiences, whether in fine dining settings, catering events, or banquet services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, oversee food production, and contribute to a vibrant hospitality environment.

Duties

Develop innovative menus that align with the restaurant’s concept and customer preferences, incorporating dietary considerations and current food trends
Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to ensure consistency and excellence
Manage inventory control and food handling procedures to minimize waste and optimize resources while maintaining strict food safety standards
Oversee catering, banquet, and special event services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to service completion
Lead and mentor kitchen staff through effective team management, providing training on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and customer service excellence
Monitor shift management activities, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and maintaining a positive work environment
Collaborate with the dietary department to accommodate special dietary needs and ensure compliance with health regulations

Experience

Proven culinary experience in fine dining establishments or high-volume food service environments
Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of leading successful kitchen teams
Extensive background in food production, menu planning, and restaurant management
Experience in banquet service, catering operations, or large-scale event catering is highly desirable
Knowledge of inventory management systems and food safety regulations (including HACCP standards)
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative team atmosphere
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards related to food handling, serving techniques, and kitchen management
