Experienced Plumber / Gas Engineer – Subcontract Partnership

Gold Standard Plumber in Slough and surrounding areas

Overview

Gold Standard Plumber is looking for an experienced, fully equipped plumber or gas engineer to handle a steady flow of inbound domestic plumbing and heating leads.

This is a subcontract partnership opportunity, not standard employment.

We focus on marketing, lead generation, customer acquisition, and booking management — allowing you to focus on inspections, quoting, and completing work professionally.

You will manage your own pricing, collect payment directly from customers on your own terms, and maintain control over your operational workflow while receiving consistent incoming work.

This role is ideal for:

Self-employed plumbers wanting additional consistent jobs
Gas engineers looking to fill gaps in their schedule
Experienced tradesmen who want more work without spending money on advertising
Smaller plumbing businesses wanting reliable lead flow

Your Responsibilities

Attend booked customer appointments professionally
Diagnose plumbing/heating issues accurately
Create and present quotes directly to customers

Provide before/after job photos when required
Keep scheduling updated and communicate availability clearly
Represent Gold Standard Plumber professionally

Requirements

Fully qualified and experienced plumber or gas engineer
Own tools and professional equipment required
Own vehicle/transport required
Strong communication and customer service skills
Reliable and punctual
Comfortable quoting and upselling work ethically
Self-employed status preferred
Gas Safe registration preferred for heating/boiler work

Preferred Experience

Experience in:

Domestic plumbing repairs
Leak detection and pipework
Drain/blockage work
Heating systems
Boiler-related work
Emergency plumbing
Installations and maintenance
Customer-facing service work

Pay Structure

Revenue-share subcontract arrangement.

You will receive a percentage of completed job revenue while maintaining flexibility and operational independence.

High-performing contractors can generate significant weekly income through consistent lead volume and strong quote conversions.

Important Expectations

Good communication is essential
Customers must be treated professionally
Missed appointments or poor communication are unacceptable
Contractors must not attempt to bypass or directly solicit company-generated customers outside the agreed arrangement

Schedule

Flexible subcontract work.
Part-time and full-time availability welcome.
