Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Event Assistants to join our team during peak event periods. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic environment, supporting event operations and ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The position is paid and ideal for individuals who enjoy hospitality, management, and guest service roles. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent organisational skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

Responsibilities

Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all areas are prepared to standard before guest arrival
Welcome guests warmly, providing information and support throughout their visit
Support event management in coordinating activities, guiding guests, and overseeing crowd flow
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of event areas, including assisting with catering or activity stations as required
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of events from start to finish

Skills

Proven experience in management or hospitality roles is advantageous
Strong guest service skills with a friendly and approachable manner
Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Flexibility to adapt to varying responsibilities and schedules during the event period
Prior experience in managing crowds or coordinating events is desirable but not essential
