London’s biggest and best Irish bar sells more Guinness than any other in the UK. The team here serves up a warm welcome with a distinct Irish accent. So, the vibe is laid back – except when we’re watching the big games in Rugby, Hurling and Gaelic Football or hosting a traditional music session. ABOUT THE ROLE

At Waxy's, everyone plays an important role in the business, and none more so than the stock person. Responsible for checking and taking in deliveries, liaising with suppliers, reconciling deliveries against purchase orders, stocking the bar fridges, maintaining hygiene levels in the cellar, and keeping the back-of-house area organised, clean and tidy. This is a physical role with lots of lifting, moving, and organising items. It is an early start, being here at 6:00 am, but it also means an early finish, so no evening or night shifts in the role. Wednesdays are a non-negotiable day of work due to our beer deliveries.

A monthly variable share of the venue service charge, paid through a Tronc scheme in line with the Tipping Act 2023. 100% of our Service Charge goes to our employees and is distributed in its entirety on a monthly basis. The lower figure is the hourly salary and the higher figure is the average hourly income across a year including tronc distribution for the role advertised.
