We’re excited to be bringing the spirit of Barcelona to Mere Green and are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team.

As a Kitchen Porter, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, supporting food preparation, and helping us deliver an exceptional experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain the pot wash area and ensure the kitchen remains clean, organised, and efficient.
Wash and store crockery, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
Support daily and deep cleaning schedules in line with food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist with food preparation and kitchen service when required.
Receive and store deliveries in accordance with food safety procedures.
Help maintain a 5-star food hygiene standard by following all legal compliance requirements.
Assist in training and supporting new Kitchen Porters.
Report maintenance issues and equipment concerns to senior kitchen management.
Ensure bin stores, storage areas, and staff areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
